Is this really summer? If it isn't cold, its rainy and cold. So... summer = cold? How in the world am I supposed to put miles on my Four Wheeler? I mean come on.. like I am going to go run around in the cold! I can't even get out from under the blanket, so riding in this... Ohhhh no. I am way too cold natured for that! *Sigh* Well, maybe summer will come back.. if not, then I will have to start collecting animals for the Ark I'm gonna build in my snowsuit!

Things have been pretty quiet here for the last couple of days. Crap! I probably just jinxed it! Why don't I learn? *Groan*

Holy Cow did anyone watch Dr. Phil yesterday? I swear to heavens I have always disliked that man just on the annoyance factor but last night he earned some respect from me. The show was about Moms out of control or in a rage or as I like to call it "A crazy, abusive, insane bitch beating the hell out of her kids and needs to be put in a prison full of murderers"!!!! This mother was beating, not whipping, not correcting bad behavior, but beating her kids. She called them all kinds of horrible names, smacked them in the head, kicked her son in the knee after she had beaten him so severely that he was Limping, and then told him that he was faking it! Faking? How in the hell is he faking when you just beat him up you stupid bitch! The video of this was so upsetting I just sat here and cried. The whole time I was wanting to turn the channel but it was one of those situations where you feel like if you turn it that you are in some way abandoning those children to that Bitch's care. I know.. not rational. I kept thinking, my God, something has to happen to get those kids help. Surely they aren't going to make them keep living with this bitch? She even said that she couldn't stop herself and she didn't know if she would hurt them really bad. Dr. Phil basically told her he didn't think she was evil... but basically informed her that she was a Monster in a nice way.. I would have just told the Bitch.. You are a monster. One decent thing she has done is that she did ask for help, she did write in. I guess its better than nothing. But damn. I mean my God, if she will beat them like that, scream, curse, demean, yell and even torture.. on tape, knowing there is someone taping her.. Then how does she act when no one is watching??? Dr. Phil told her is is reporting her and that she would not touch those kids again. Yay Dr. Phil. I was hoping beyond hope that he wouldn't let her leave without doing something! All I can think of is those poor kids. That Poor little boy screaming and begging her to stop. I don't understand the concept of that form of rage towards children. Yes, they can frustrate you. They can make you a little crazy. Teenagers can make you rethink your whole life some days. But they are defenseless children! What is this world coming to?

I have been a reading Mad Woman lately! In the last three days I have finished three books. Dean Koontz: Intensity, John Saul: Perfect Nightmare and the Mary Higgins Clark book from the other day. They were all awesome! Bill kept saying... "Are you trying to read the whole damned book in one day?" To which I would say.. well, not on purpose, but its a good book. I try to explain to him that to me.. a book is like a good movie and he wouldn't want to stop a movie half way through would he? He doesn't get it though cause he is a "Reader Hater". LOL

We have watched a few movies in the last couple of days and thought I would share my Critical Reviews on them, whether ya want em or not. ;) LOL

The Green Mile Killer: Turned it off in the first ten minutes. I swear the back of the stupid thing made it seem like a CSI type movie, and it was instead the stupidest B rated movie I think I have ever seen. Definitely don't suggest you see it, or waste your money.

Casanova: It was OK, I fell asleep in the last part for about fifteen or twenty minutes and still didn't feel like I missed anything. I really don't have a whole lot to say on this one, it is kind of unmemorable (its my word LOL) Its an OK movie for one of those days when you have no desire to leaf through the old DVD collection, there is nothing on TV and it is raining. :)

The New World: I had very high hopes for this movie! I was so excited since I am one of those Indian Romance fanatics. What I got out of this movie was a frustration aimed towards the writers. It is a great story and could have been done soooo much better. A bit more action in the fight scenes. A bit more than just the plodding of the camera. The flash scenes were annoying and I don't think that the actors had to learn more than five lines each! There was no dialog people.. None! A movie that sits in that much silence.. well it's just wrong. On a good note.. Ole Collin is still sexy as hell and had me watching till the end to see him.

Tristan and Isolde: I LOVED, LOVED LOVED this movie. Of course I would liked to have seen a better ending... But.. well not possible. I am a fan of this time period movie and the whole thing had me riveted. :)

There was another one and I swear I can't remember what it was! Is that a good sign? I can't even remember the movie whatsoever, so the review can't possibly be good!

We have Aeon Flux or Peon Flux or whatever it is sitting over there on the shrunk. I guess we will watch that one here in a while. We also have three coming from Netflix tomorrow and I am excited about one.. the other two are Bill Movies as I call them. I wanted to see When a Stranger Calls. I remember when the original movie came out I was babysitting and still really young. That movie had me scared to death! I would have nightmares about babysitting with a killer in the house. And when I would go babysit? Holy cow talk about nervous. I can remember doing that whole tentativeIWannaShitMyPants walk down the hall to check on "The children" and god forbid if the phone rang.. no caller ID back then people! I would about pass out! The other two are.. Grandmas Boy (Do the previews look anymore sick joke silly??) and the other is The Ringer. The ringer may not be too bad.. but I will probably sit and think "Stop being mean to them!" through the whole movie.

Ha! I remember now! It was Last Holiday. Well, apparently the whole "forgot" thing was just me and a menopausal moment again. I liked this movie. It was cute, had a good story and I loved the Queen in it. Predictable ending of course. But, it sure was better than the other movies we have attempted to watch lately.
