Editted to add.... I have uploaded the after pictures I have so far. I also renamed them so you will know what you are looking at. I know.. I am all kinds of on the ball today. :) If you have issues viewing the photos, please let me know. Also, I would like to know if anyone has problems viewing or reading through my entries or accessing the photos. I am debating on going through a site on my own for my journal, but if this works.. then may as well stay put. If you would, please leave a comment in the ... well, comments section. :) Thank you!

It has been another crazy couple of weeks around here.... of course. We have been seriously revamping the yard, trying to landscape it to where it looks like a home instead of the front yard of a refugee camp. It is coming along, but Good Lord, my aching back!!!! We have done some serious work with pavers and those big rock block things, building a pond in our yard. It is looking really gorgeous. Bill is DETERMINED that we WILL have goldfish in the pond in the front yard. I'm thinking a green infested, mosquito ridden pool of slime will be more like what we will wind up with. Does my husband not remember our bout with the fishies? I KILL OFF FISH... not on purpose, so no hate mail please... but I just don't do fish well. So, we will see.

Pictures located in 2nd Before and After Album on the my yahoo shared photos album. Yes, I made sure I set the setting for share this time. LOL

Pictures 16-23 are of the front of the house

Pictures 13, 14, and 15 are of the kitchen... lurving the yeller color aren't you? Jealous, I knew it! Psst, you should have seen it before i took the lovely border down that was up there.. Arg!

I am uploading... right now... the rest of the before pictures of the house. I am also getting ready to upload the pictures for the After look of the kitchen, bathroom and living room. I will take pictures of the bedrooms in the next day or so... I know.. shaddup... I am slow. But, my memory card is full and I have to get all these off first. Then I have to make sure the beds are made before I take the pictures... and right now, the kids are sleeping in them. LOL

I will post another entry for the after pictures to detail what you are seeing. :)

Joseph is sick once again. I swear I am going to have to go crazy skitso to get this kid well. He has carried strep throat for three months, antibiotics have not helped a lick. Then he was hospitalized for Scarlett Fever, which had developed from having the strep throat so long. He was covered with a bright red rash, I of course had the oral surgery the day that the rash popped out and we figured out what it was. I don't remember leaving the dental surgeons office, and the next thing I can remember is seeing Joe when we walked in the house and thinking... quite foggily... "Gosh, Joe's got chicken pox" Becky, Bills sister, rushed him to the doctor for me, since I was still silly drunk off of the "you're too afraid to go to the dentist.. you chicken" medication. She called from the office and told us they were on the way to the hospital. Bill had to take me, the drunkish, now panicked mess to the hospital. We stopped off at Wally-World and grabbed him new jammies, some movies, games, and of course... a DVD player to ease my guilt ridden mind over the fact that I had failed my child while being the big chicken that I am. He was put in the hospital and was such a trooper over the IV and all the vampire blood drawing they did. He met the kid in the next bed over and they had a blast while Bill and I and the other kids mom did the zombie routine. Now Joe thinks that staying in the hospital again would be really neat and he will get more "loot". Sheeesh. Anywho, we take him to the doctor again today since he has been sick for two days... and guess what? Strep throat! I swear to god! We left from the doctor and went to inform the principal at the school that they need to scrub that school down. The kid is doing fine until he goes back to school, then bam! They have 64 cases that his doctor has seen in one month from that school. I'm thinking that the strep virus is just sitting on the desk laying in wait for Joe to come to school. So, they are going to scrub, I am going to pack his lunch, he will ONLY drink bottled water and juices and I am going to put a thing of purrell in his desk! I'm also going to give him yet another "Don't drink after anyone, don't share straws, make sure you wash your hands, don't touch anything and don't breath unless you have to" lectures and hope that we get a handle on this before this kid winds up having to miss the whole school year. Or his health is seriously damaged!!

Bill got himself a couple new toys this week. He got two "Cheehuahuas" as I call them. He is doing very well taking care of them himself. I told him when he got them that they were all his. I was not going to poddy train dogs after I did the kids. Haha. I wanted a kitty for the record. What do I have? Three dogs and three lizards and three kids... hmmm three must be our number.

I finally got a Ipod wannabe. I wound up getting an Iriver. I love the thing. I am simply trying to figure out how the new podcast things work. But, I love the fact that all my music is on this tiny thing and it was easy to do... I can use it in my car with the adaptor thingy and there is NO SKIPPING ON THE GRAVEL ROADS... whoohooo. Its awesome. I hated that I could never listen to my CD's on the road to the house, they skipped too bad because of the rough road. So, my Iriver is my Bestest friend. Plus, its really nice when I go four wheeling, I can pull it out and listen and just ride along. Life is great with the new gadget. :)

Well, I guess I should cut this off so that it doesn't take ya'll an hour to read while eating a gallon of ice cream. Take it easy and Thanks for popping in. Image
