All is Good with the Cat homefront

"Hey Carol, do you want to get all your family up here and let us do a family picture?"

Me: "Awsome! I don't have one good family picture with all of my kids, Bill and I in it together. He's always been deployed or one of the kids gone for the summer, or something. I would LOVE to have a family picture. Come on everyone... get up here for a picture. Joe, come on, put that soda down and get up here! Laura.... Laura! Where's she at damnit! There she is, come on up here hun... Dustin, stand here.. no, right there. Laura, you right there. No, you can't strangle your brother in the picture! I want a SERIOUS, PRETTY PICTURE. Stand still!! Joseph, you stand here. Good, now, everyone look nice and say cheese!"

SONOFABITCH!

I do not think there is a judge on earth that would convict me people... not one!

All is right with the world. For now. Bill undid the hole under my tub and this morning we woke up and the cat was wrapped around my head. Bless her little heart! I cried my eyes out. She is still hugely preggers and she is doing good. Me? Well, I have figured out that if something happens to this cat, I will go insane. Sheesh.

We have had company at night and didn't know it... and I just thought the cat was a pig!

night visitor

It was a Coon! I have never seen one up close before. It would sit and eat the food and not pay any attention to me snapping pictures through the screen door. The pictures were a bit fuzzy but this is the clearest one.

Closeuptry

Other than this one and it was running away. I really need a new camera that snaps faster pictures. Mine is too damned slow!

slug

I found this on my door step just a few minutes ago. Giant slug. Notice the big gooey trail it was leaving. Blech!

Beaver

We were driving out of the holler today and noticed this out of the corner of my eye. This just happened to be a day that I brought my camera with me. It's a Beaver! There were three babies playing also but they ran off when I stopped the car. The zoom wouldn't get any closer, so just take my word for it.. its a Beaver! I was amazed and could sit all day watching them play.

AustinDog

Austin with the Doggies. That boy is infatuated with the dogs. I love this picture. So pretty. Well, except for the damned broken bin that we keep the dog food in.

There are so many things to love about that family photo - your younger son's expression is hilarious!

And yay for kitty coming home!

Yes, he's cute... but... every picture has that same expression... every. one. And can I take that and put it in a frame on the wall... noooooo... Dustin is halfway out of the picture, Laura's eyes are closed, Bills head is cut and please, that face! He looks like that guy off of The Goonies... or Beaker off of the Muppets. You can tell by the way I am standing and the look on my face that I am expecting a wonderful touching family picture to frame on my wall!!! It will look cute in a scrapbook with the caption... "I wanted a family picture, and Beaker stepped in"
or something.
That's what I need.. you three people that click over here to read this on blogspot... a caption for this picture? Throw me some ideas.
